Weather Hold

Thank you, Veterans!

Written by Kolla

November 11th each year, Americans celebrate Veterans Day, to honor the men and women that have served in the U.S. armed forces. Originally the holiday was known as Armistice Day – commemorating the truce between the allies and Germany in World War I – on the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. In 1954, the name was changed to Veterans Day, to honor all veterans.

PD New Beginning

We have quite a few skydiving veterans,  some that came to the sport through their duties or as civilians. Veterans – thanks for all you did and do. To say thanks, we offer all veterans to drop us a line for a special super secret coupon code – good for a splurge on a subscription or some goodies from the Blue Skies Mag store! You have until the end of the month to get in touch and use it!
