On November 11th each year, Americans celebrate Veterans Day, to honor the men and women that have served in the U.S. armed forces. Originally the holiday was known as Armistice Day – commemorating the truce between the allies and Germany in World War I – on the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. In 1954, the name was changed to Veterans Day, to honor all veterans – not just those that served in World War I.

Veterans – thanks for all you did and do.  To say thanks, we offer all veterans to drop us a line for a coupon code – good for a splurge on a subscription or some goodies from the Blue Skies Mag store!
