Today we have a three-part post, with all kinds of good stuff!
First up: this weekend (actually happening right now), 110 international climbers will be taking part in Coalition Duchenne‘s 4th Mt Kinabalu expedition to raise awareness for Duchenne’s, a form of muscular dystrophy. There will also be 2 historic wingsuit flybys taking place as well (the FIRST wingsuit flight in Sabah, Malaysia – weather permitting).
Coalition Duchenne is an organization that was near and dear to Dan Vicary’s heart. His wife Lisa Hutchins from Valley BASE Gear and friends will be climbing in honor of Dan and for those living with Duchenne’s and we’ll be cheering them on all the way!
Meet the wingsuit pilots that will be taking the leap in support of Coalition Duchenne: Chris “Douggs” McDougall and Scotty Bob
Last but not least, a small tribute to Dan who would have been taking the leap in the expedition this weekend for Coalition Duchenne. No doubt he’ll be watching out for his wife Lisa and friends on this expedition from the skies above. This video is from the 2013 World Wingsuit Race in Brazil.
