If traveling to Florida for a winter boogie seems a little “been there, done that” to you, maybe going a little more exotic would do the trick? How about a turning the seasons upside down, visiting a whole new hemisphere and attend the Southern Summer Jam, in the lands of the Hobbits?
Colin Aitchison, one of the organizers, sent us a short note on what the Southern Summer Jam 4, in Methven, New Zealand is all about:
“New Zealand Skydive School’s annual boogie is now in its 4th year and this time around will feature 1x Caravan & 1x Grand Caravan as main jumpcraft along with visits from the guys at Mt Hutt Helicopters. With this massive lifting power on site and world-class load organisers there is potential for some New Zealand records to fall. Also new this year is the option of on site camping available to registered people. As always the NZ Aerosports party will be going off on the Saturday night and is not to be missed! Whether you are staying on after the NZ Nationals or arriving for the boogie on the Thursday you are in for one awesome weekend. Book your time off now!”
Dates: March 7th-10th, 2013.
